Aave is now live on Monad, surpassing $250 million in TVL less than a month after launch.

Category Labs unveiled Cadence, a new multiple concurrent proposer (MCP) consensus protocol. This would unlock 100-millisecond blocks and 200-millisecond finality. It would also significantly enhance Monad's resilience to MEV attacks.
With the implementation of MIP-12, Monad mainnet now produces a new block every 300 milliseconds and reaches deterministic finality in 600 milliseconds, down from 400 ms block times and 800 ms finality previously. These reductions make the network more responsive, improving the experience for both developers building on Monad and users transacting on it.
Nitro's first cohort wrapped up a three month program with a Demo Day attended by 100+ investors and seven unique app team pitches.
