Monad Foundation to Host Inaugural ‘Open’ Summit in Singapore, Connecting Institutions and Builders Under One Roof

NEW YORK – August 4, 2026 – Monad Foundation, the team supporting the development, adoption, and growth of the Monad blockchain, today announced its inaugural flagship event, “Open”, to be hosted in Singapore at the Jiak Kim House / Warehouse Complex on Tuesday, October 6th, 2026. The full-day event will draw together leaders from institutional finance, digital assets, and Monad’s ecosystem contributors in one location with a common goal of bringing together a global open economy. The first wave of participants includes global institutions, banks, fintechs, enterprise businesses, and leading ecosystem projects, all converging to discuss the continued evolution of performant and transparent public infrastructure for finance.

Open’s thesis is simple. In a free market, there’s room for everyone. Anyone with an internet connection can hold assets, move value, build financial applications, and verify for themselves that the system did what it said. Open access to financial markets is the Foundation’s mission, and it carries real moral weight, and few technologies get the chance to deliver something this consequential. Fair and equal access to financial markets must be neutral by design.

Open brings that mantra to life, drawing those who are prioritizing open access, open markets, open source, and open-to-all infrastructure, whether it be from centuries old banks or emerging projects less than a year old. The end goal remains the same.
